went with the whole gang (my 6 year old, who had a great show-and-tell the next day, 15-year-old nephew who is sophomore at Moeller, mom and dad, local former politician). I missed Lebanon, but the folks didn't (long time GOP supporters). I DID see Bush at Hamilton High for the bill signing. [No Child Left Behind - MATT]
My dad had a comment for my nephew. He said that VOA Park was full of "broken-glass Republicans", meaning those who would "walk or crawl over broken glass to see the President." I think the one thing that the rally told anyone on the Bush team is how "red" this particular section of Ohio is.

Becky, we couldn't agree more. It is really hard to argue with numbers like that. Kerry supporters are going to try by bringing Hollywood's "finest" but I don't think they are going to get anywhere near close to the numbers that came out for the President last week."Broken Glass Republicans." I like that. It shows the determination that we are going to need to win big. Becky, your father is a wise man with great instincts.
Folks, we still have a few weeks to go. We have to stay focused. We have to stay strong. And we have to crush John Kerry, because as Hugh Hewitt says, "If Its Not Close, They Can't Cheat."
Keep the faith! God Bless President Bush. God Bless the Buckeye State of Ohio. And God Bless the United States of America.
