Here is another one of those Yahoo News Alerts. This one was from last night:BEIJING (AP) A leader of China's parliament says an anti-secession bill would authorize Beijing to take "nonpeaceful steps" to stop rival Taiwan from pursuing formal independence.So, China is authorizing its military to engage in war to prevent Taiwan from seeking independence. Europe continues to want to sell China weapons. France has conducted joint naval exercises with China.
Has anyone else stopped to ask whether or not any of this is a good idea?
