The Hero of Chappaquitick is STILL an Idiot

This is a little dated, and I am sorry about the nature of the source, but this is one of the few places I could find a great deal of TeddyBoy's comments. Here is the link.

DELAY: We will look at an arrogant, out-of-control, unaccountable judiciary that thumbed their nose at Congress and the president. When given the jurisdiction to hear this case anew and look at all the facts and make a determination, they chose not to participate, contrary to what Congress and the president asked them to do. ...

Mr. DeLay also said something about those responsible (for the Schiavo thing) will answer for their behavior. Obviously, he was talking about taking these judges to account for thumbing their nose at Congress. Well, Teddy Boy couldn't stand his liberal icons of the bench being maligned, and he has to throw hyperbole around somewhere, so Teddy Boy said:
"Mr. DeLay's comments today were irresponsible and reprehensible. I'm not sure what Mr. DeLay meant when he said that 'the time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior,' but at a time when emotions are running high, Mr. DeLay needs to make clear that he is not advocating violence against anyone."

OK, anyone else think Ted was reading (or having the statement read to him) with some serious beer goggles on (or beer headphones)?

Where does it say: kill the judges! Off with their heads! Anyone?

As usual, Teddy is being the hero of Chappaquitick, playing the CYA game. He goes on :
"People in this case have already had their lives threatened. In just the past few weeks judges and their families in this country have been brutally murdered. This case has been heartbreaking and tragic enough it's time for mourning and healing, not for more inflammatory rhetoric and responsible national leaders should understand that and stop this exploitation."

(emphasis mine)

Gee, Mr. Senator, you cared so much for some judges' families. Remember Miguel Estrada? His family had to wait over 20 months in limbo while you fillibustered him. Remember Robert Bork? You claimed he wanted to return to slavery and segregation and barefoot and pregnant women! And gee, what about Clarence Thomas? Wasn't it your cadre of Dems on the committee who engaged in lurid questioning to malign his reputation, even bringing up the fact he is involved in mixed race relationship? Who really, Senator Drunken Murderer, is the one who has built a career consistently maligning the character of fine jurists who actually interpret the law instead of rewriting it. And don't even get me started on the character assassination of Judge Pickering. Even Medgar Evers' brother speaking in his favor was not enough to overcome your hate-driven anti-Bush crusade to see him fillibustered. TeddyBoy, put the beer down and wake up. when you were talking about DeLay, you were talking about yourself. The first step is admitting a problem. The next is seeking help
