Bush now has basically said: Look, friggin liberal idiots, I have laid out our "exit strategy" already ad nauseum....
1. We will get an interim govt.
2. We will get a representative govt.
3. We will get elections
4. We will get a constitution.
5. We will train Iraqis so they can handle security.
We will leave when these are all accomplished, but we cannot just say we are leaving next year or whenever. However, Bush is too classy to name names and say the liberals in our own govt. want to aid the enemy by getting a clear withdrawal date to prepare for.
Bush goes on to talk about international assistance, and Germany realizing Iraq is important....
Iraqis want to defend themselves, and we are helping...Progress is significant, and we have a clear path forward.....(note to liberals--this is the exit strategy, again, still...whatever)
