All Politics is Local

A couple of gems from this Enquirer piece that BizzyBlogger sent to us...

Apparently, Pat DeWine's campaign manager is now working for John Hritz. Hritz is exploring (read "he's running") the possibility of a primary challenge against Sen. Mike DeWine. Could this be why VikingSpirit is on board with Hritz? In the comments to this VS post, the Editor of Ohio-02 asks the question; Parker replies:
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a big Pat DeWine supporter, but the same doesn't go for Mike DeWine. I disagree with DeWine on some issues, and I think DeWine is very vulnerable in a general election (just look at that DSCC poll). I also think there will be alot of crossover votes if DeWine wins the nomination. I also think we Republicans can do better than Mike DeWine.

All in all, I think it's time for a change when it comes to Senator.
Care to add anything? Feel free...

Bizzy was fired up about the second item in the Enquirer piece though.

Apparently, "Bouncin' Bob" McEwen is still courting conservatives. What for, you might ask? The question everyone is now asking is this: Is Bob McEwen "exploring" a primary challenge of Mike DeWine too? Wouldn't surprise me any...this guy doesn't know when to quit.

Advice to Bizzy: Don't burn the McEwen file just yet, you might still need it.

Lastly, my mayor, Congressman Mike Turner, is in the Middle East this week with Congressman Chabot. Morocco, Lebanon, Cyprus, Israel and Egypt are all on the itinerary.

Advice to the Congressmen: Keep your heads down, gentlemen.
