Hiroshima v. Iran

Where is the OUTRAGE!? Good question. Ian Robinson has got some idea:
It is ironic that, hard on the heels of the annual festival of America-bashing that is such a fun part of the anniversaries of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Iran rebooted a uranium processing plant last week with the ability to produce materials to create nuclear weapons.

Funny, you don't see a lot of people protesting in front of Iranian embassies around the world to complain about that.

But not a year goes by that crowds don't gather in the world's capitals to whine about the use of A-bombs to bring an end to the Second World War, against an enemy that -- as a matter of culture and expressed military policy -- fought to the death and committed suicide to prevent capture.
I have no doubt that in 60 years, hippies the world over will protest the War on Terror. No doubt whatsoever. Assuming of course, the Islamofascists don't win...in which case, the hippies would probably be among the first to experience the disconnect between their head and the rest of their body courtesy of the Religion of Peace.
