France Update

From ABC News:
A red T-shirt draped over the statue of a former colonial governor bears a curt message for French peacekeepers in this war-divided West African country: "Get out."

The tenuous relationship between Paris and its former colony suffered another blow Wednesday when the French Defense Ministry confirmed that troops in Ivory Coast suffocated an Ivorian prisoner in an armored vehicle in May, and commanders knew of the killing but did not notify their superiors.
Will Cindy Sheehan and her zombies be marching on the French Embassy to protest? How about International ANSWER?

Can't find these anti-war groups with a search warrant on this issue... Hmm...why is that? Could it be that they aren't anti-war but rather anti-American? Just a question...I leave it to the reader to make those determinations.

Apparently, the French have been doing this sort of thing for awhile now over there.

Me? Well, I blame Bush. Naturally.

Mark's Remarks

When the French insurgency gets worse than the Iraqi insurgency, will we have won? Bingo!

Hmm...where are the anti-discrimination groups out there protesting the riots going on with a distinct anti-semitic flair? Hmm? Wait, it is France, the pantheon of tolerance and liberalism, we can't come out against France....

France is just as brutal and oppressive as anything America has been charged with. Yet, only America gets the bumps and bruises. People treat the French with kid gloves, and why I wonder? Are they afraid of being talked to death, or not getting enough wine or cheeses?
