Hello, all, this is the Notorious Mark G. aka the author of Mark's Remarks. Some of you out there are wondering, who is this Mark and where did he come from? Well, for you newcomers, I helped found this blog with my friend Matt a few years ago. We formed it to counter much of the Left wing hate we saw in the media and also to vent our own beliefs and philosophies on the then infant of blogging. Now, years later, we are part of the revolution of the New Media, and this blog has gotten over 40000 page views in the time we have been doing it. However, you say, Matt posts much more frequently and is all over the internet on other blogs.
Well, dear friends, let me break it down for you: Matt is obsessive compulsive. when he throws himself into something, it is all or nothing. Hence, why he loses to a deuce five offsuit in Texas Hold'em (inside joke). Also, Matt is in a position where he has total access to the computer and the internet. In my positions, I do not. Therefore, I do not get the time to post as much, especially with the number of vocations I have going as well as getting in some time to sleep. However, I am just as proud of this blog and the success it has achieved and the relationships we have built.
I am, Matt would say, the more philosophically conservative of the bunch. I am a Reaganite, and despite my affiliation with the GOP, I am a conservative of conscience first, a Republican 2nd. I have voted for Democrats, but unlike Matt, I never voted for Bubba. I like baseball, Hockey, history, and despite my gruff manners in some of the comments, I think Matt and Doug and the gang would tell you I am pretty easy to get along with. I am basically a 6'4" loveable fuzzball.
