I just got off the phone with the results of the endorsement process in the senatorial race.To get the endorsement, the winner needed to secure two-thirds of the vote. In a three-way race, the lowest vote getter in the first round gets dropped.
In the first round the big loser was Sen. Mike DeWine.
No candidate managed to get two-thirds of the vote in the second round.
My analysis: The winner is Bob Bennett.
So much for Mike DeWine "crushing" anybody...he didn't even make it out of the first round.
The big loser: the citizens of Ohio.
