WASHINGTON (AP) An administration official said Tuesday that White House chief of staff Andrew Card has resigned and will be replaced by budget director Josh Bolton.
Andrew has lasted longer than most in this job.

WASHINGTON (AP) Caspar W. Weinberger, a Republican stalwart who served in the Cabinets of Presidents Nixon and Reagan and was a central figure in the Iran-Contra scandal, has died. He was 88.
Earlier today, I read that a Reagan press secretary had also died. Not a good day to have been a Reagan staffer. Has anybody seen Hewitt today? Peter Robinson?

HOUSTON (AP) Prosecutions rests its case in the fraud and conspiracy trial of Enron founder Kenneth Lay and former Chief Executive Jeffrey Skilling.
If half the stuff that these guys are accused of is true, these guys should go down hard.
