Studebaker Wins "Key" Endorsement

From the Studebaker campaign:
On Tuesday the Ohio Federation of Teachers issued several endorsements statewide. Darold Johnson, OFT Director of Legislation and Political action stated, “These OFT-endorsed candidates are the best equipped to make sure Ohio children receive the quality education they need to succeed in life, and that Ohio’s public school teachers are given the respect and support they need to do their jobs well.” Stephanie Studebaker, candidate for Ohio’s Third Congressional District, was thankful for OFT’s endorsement, and said she looks forward to fighting for Ohio’s students and teachers.

As the Studebaker campaign picks up steam, indications begin to show Republicans fear a strong challenge in Ohio’s Third Congressional District. On Tuesday Representative Tom Cole (R-OK) identified five vulnerable second-term law makers as recipients for funding from his SHROMP, Sophomores Retaining Our Majority Program. Congressman Mike Turner was one of the five lawmakers identified as vulnerable, and will split $225,000 in funding earmarked to keep him competitive in his Congressional race. Dr. Stephanie Studebaker went on record stating, “It’s no surprise the Congressman is vulnerable. Under his watch, the Dayton metro area has had the second highest job loss in the nation. Our district has too many hungry families. The Congressman has lost his support in the district, now he is running to his friends in Washington for money. All the money in the world won’t help him run from his record.”
Turner was MY mayor back in the day. And while I've been disappointed in him from time to time, he's still better than any liberal Democrat.

One problem with the analysis provided in the release... They say:
Under his watch, the Dayton metro area has had the second highest job loss in the nation. Our district has too many hungry families.
Unfortunately for Studebaker, this has NOTHING to do with Turner and EVERYTHING to do with the disaster that replaced him as mayor. Rhinn McLin is responsible for what has happened in Dayton. She and her liberal Democrat friends have run that city in to the ground.

But I have to admit that it is kind of fun to get some mail from the Democrat candidates too...at least they aren't 17 pages long.
