TEHRAN, Iran (AP) A top Iranian official says Tehran is ready for talks with the U.S. over Iraq.
Talks about what? US to Iran: Stay the hell out of Iraq. Iran: No, we want the Islamofascists to win. We are on their side. US to Iran: You're either with us or against us...it seems clear that you are against us. We just might have to do something about that.

WASHINGTON (AP) The Senate has approved a bill permitting the government to borrow another $781 billion, bringing the limit on the national debt to nearly $9 trillion.
I thought the Republicans were in charge of Congress???

Jill from Write Likes She Talks writes about Bill Pierce Meets the Bloggers. (DISCLOSURE: I am the blog administrator for Pierce for Senate) Demonstrating, once again, the appeal of Bill Pierce to more than just the hard core Reagan conservatives... Jill asks the right questions:
To sum up, I found Pierce honest, specific, intelligent, eager, personable - likeable, not politicky at all. But I'm not going to be voting in the GOP primary.

So, if I were a Republican, I'd be looking hard at the incumbent, trying to better understand, What has he really done for Ohio? What has he done that hasn't been good for Ohio? What does he stand for?
