I have resently rejoined the Buglers Across America group (more on that later) and noticed that trumpet legend Maynard Ferguson passed away yesterday.Ferguson died at the age of 78. If and when I'm 78, I hope I have at least a fraction of the talent Maynard still displayed. Conquistador was one of my favorite tunes from Maynard. He will be missed.
