Rick Segal, chairman of the Buckeye Institute, will be a delegate to Forbes CEO Middle East Forum to be held February 26–28 in Doha, Qatar. The forum is being held under the patronage of His Highness Skeikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Emir of Qatar. Segal is attending the forum at the personal invitation of Forbes president and editor-in-chief Steve Forbes, with whom Segal has shared a long business and political relationship.

The theme of the forum is “Driving Growth - Risk and Reward in the Middle East,” and is intended to deliver relevant, top-quality intelligence and provide opportunity for those interested in doing business in the Middle East to engage dialogues and relationship building. Forum sessions are to include presentations on the region’s petrochemical, urban development, sports and entertainment, and telecommunications industries.

“We’re obviously honored to have been invited,” said Segal. “Exposure to the substance and personalities of this forum will enrich our view of this important region of the world, and will better inform our view of how Ohio’s abundant energy resources might be unleashed to deliver lower prices and a stronger economy.”
