It's getting hot and heavy already, Hillary trying to attack Obama and Obama trying to slam Hillary. And it is great entertainment. David Geffen, part of the conglomerate DreamWorks SKG with Jeff Katzenberg and Steve Spielberg,is one of the big hitters coming out for Obama. It seems he had a big fundraiser, and if you have fundraisers for anyone other than a Clinton, Hilly gets miffed, along with her spokespeople. Geffs went a little farther in saying why he was supporting Obama and why the Clintons are not to be trusted (which I wonder why he didn't figure this out 12-16 years ago..I guess Hollywood types are stupid and slow):
“everybody in politics lies,” the former president and his wife “do it with such ease, it’s troubling.” In the interview, Mr Geffen added Bill Clinton was “a reckless guy,” and he did not think Ms Clinton could bring the country together during a time of war
Of course, Hillary immediately demanded that Geffen be detained and tortured as an enemy of her state of superiority. Actually, she demanded Barack distance himself form Geffen and, here's the funny part in regards to the Clintons, give back the money Geffen has donated and raised. Funny, hahah.
But Geffen isn't the only attack dog. Hillary has her share as well:
Mr Obama’s spokesman, Robert Gibbs, added another criticism of Ms Clinton: “It is also ironic that Senator Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina state senator, Robert Ford, who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because he’s black.”
The Clinton team said it disagreed with Mr Ford, but that Ms Clinton embraced his support.
I hear now Bill Richardson is wanting some attention so he is offering to mediate. And I hear Carville has now joined the fray.
Big winner: John Edwards, and anyone who loves to see the Real Hillary revealed.
