Boehner on Democrat Plan to Import Terrorists to America

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) tonight released the following statement in response to reports that House Democrats are making plans to import terrorists to American communities:

"Our goal in the fight against radical Islamist terrorism is to defeat our enemies - not to bring them to our cities and shower them with the same rights as American citizens. The fact that leading House Democrats would advocate such a dangerous plan on the specious reasoning that it will 'enhance' our image in the world is shocking. The war with al Qaeda is not being waged for good PR - it is a fight to preserve our way of life against a fanatical enemy. Democrats would do well to focus more on defeating those who plot our destruction and less on trying to appease world opinion."

NOTE: The Politico newspaper reported tonight that Democrats "are contemplating the relocation of many of the 385 or so remaining terrorist suspects to military brigs along the East Coast -- including Quantico , Va. , and Charleston , S.C. " To view the full story, click here.
