A German judge has stirred a storm of protest by citing the Koran in turning down a German Muslim woman’s request for a speedy divorce on the ground that her husband beat her.
In a ruling that underlines the tension between Muslim customs and European laws, the judge, Christa Datz-Winter, noted that the couple came from a Moroccan cultural milieu, in which it is common for husbands to beat their wives. The Koran, she wrote in her decision, sanctions such physical abuse.
And the kicker? The judge is a WOMAN!!! Yep, and I bet she is a feminist! But, you can beat your wife, because you see, these islamofascist sadists have their own cultures, and we have to tolerant, and you see it is part of a "cultural milieu" so we can't give her a speedy divorce.
Last time I looked, Judge, you were supposed to decide on German law, not Islamic sharia law in the Koran! Isn't that what having that supposed separation of church and state is about? Or do you take that just to mean Christian law, but Islamic law is ok? This is why we have a separate government, why we have freedom of religion, but not the freedom to maime, beat and hurt someone just because our religion says so. Come on now....

This is disgusting, but it is typical of a worldview that just doesn't understand the threat we are facing. However, this is nothing new. Their ancestors were the ones who said we had to just respect the ancestral territorial rights of Nazi Germany, and if we just left them alone they might not hurt us.
