USAToday's Gallup Guru has the latest polling on Fred Thompson and the GOP field for '08. It looks like good news for the former-lawyer-turned-actor-turned-senator-turned actor.Does Thompson pull from the current front runner, Rudy Guiliani? Sure he does, but I suspect he pulls from Romney (as Matt Dole mentioned; linked here) and McCain as well. But it is certainly interesting to ponder how a guy can finish third in a poll for President of the United States this far out and he hasn't even announced his candidacy yet...
