CPO Gregory J. Billiter had been in the Navy for 15 years and was on his third tour of Iraq. He was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit Eleven out of Whidbey Island, Washington. He died in Kirkuk, Iraq last Friday in the line of duty. He has a wife and a three-year old son.
