US Senate Wastes Time

Today in the United States Senate, we will see yet more "non-binding resolution" grandstanding as the world's most deliberative body picks up the politicking by engaging in an auto-erotic exercise they are calling a "no confidence vote of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales."

Why is this a waste of time? Well, this is yet another in a series of measures attempted by the Democrats wherein they have no authority to be putting their noses. President Bush has already indicated he will be ignoring whatever result comes of today's theatrics, and rightfully so.

We must have that immigration thing licked... Islamofascism has been destroyed, eh? The health care "crisis" must have been averted... And clearly, we have that whole alternative energy situation under control as well...

Actually, I prefer a Congress that fails at progress... The less time Congress spends on nonsense, the better it is for freedom loving Americans everywhere...but let's not pretend that these fools deserve their time in the limelight...this is nothing more than Bush Derangement Syndrome and the prognosis indicates that there is no cure in sight...
