At least, that is the message that the organizers of Live Earth in Brazil are sending. A judge in Brazil cancelled the show (part of a world wide cry fest about global warming) because police could not guarantee the safety of the public. However, in the minds of the Gore is a god crowd, jamming and singing songs will stop global warming, because it is like, about, you know, getting the word out...the fact that people might get stampeded or killed in fights that break out, well, they say, you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs....Hmm, that sounds familiar, I seem to remember a socialist Soviet saying that....hmmm.....what does that attitude say about these current efforts and the extent to which it really is about saving people, as opposed to crushing dissent and destroying individual rights.....But wait, this isn't about saving people, it is about saving the climate, as evidenced by the name of Gore's special interest group the proceeds from the other concerts were going. Rio was the only free concert.
