Former Speaker Hastert Retiring?

It is being reported by CBS out of Chicago that former Speaker of the House Denny Hastert has decided not to seek reelection in '08. 22 years is a LONG time for a guy to serve the American people and he holds the record for the longest serving Speaker. Republican State Senator Chris Lauzen, former U.S. Senate candidate Jim Oberweis and Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns are all being named as potential candidates to fill the Big Guy's shoes should he announce his retirement at the press conference he has scheduled for Friday
