Ballad of a Donor Named Hsu and CraigGate Show Us Dems are True Hypocrites

Ladies and gentlemen, you are going to hear a lot in the coming days about Republican hypocrisy. You are going to see images of Larry Craig, the Senator who resigned in disgrace after admitting to being charged in a police sting to get people who engaged in lewd conduct in restrooms. You are going to hear about his "conservative" record and how Republicans are the true hypocrites. Hmmm....not so much, when you look at the following:

Republicans were implicated in the Jack Abramoff scandal. Democrats went on the offensive, talking about how Abramoff was a scumbag and how Republicans took money from a scumbag. Yet, here we have Hillary Clinton, she who would be Presient, taking money from not one but two fugitives from justice, and there is nary a peep outside of Fox News or just a single day news cycle in the MSM. Yet, Abramoff was a topic for months and months and months. And Ed Rendell, governor of Pennsylvania, is not even giving the Hsu money he received back until Hsu is proven guilty of something. Newsflash, Eddie boy, Hsu was a fugitive from justice already, so give the cash to a real charity, not some 527.

The Hsu connection even goes to the great state of Ohio. Republicans here were tarred and feathered with being associated not only with Abramoff, but with Tom Noe, another scumbag. Well, we have known documentation of Governor Ted Strickland, SecState Jennifer Brunner, and Senator Sherrod Brown all taking money from this fugitive from justice. Where are the cries for their heads on the 6 o clock news? What about the cries of special treatment and justice? Where are they? You won't find them. When the Noe scandal came out, clean Republicans too were outraged just as democrats were. However, all I hear from the Left in the matter of a Donor Named Hsu is the race card, double talk, and a load of B.S.

Which Brings us to the Craig issue. It seems it is OK to engage in lewd conduct or gay conduct if you are a Democrat. Look at Bill Clinton. I think an intern going down on you and you being a married man would be classified as lewd, especially in the Oval Office...but if you are Bill Clinton, it is just sex, that's all. If you are Larry Craig or Mr. Vitter of Congress, then it is unconscionable. Of course, the Left will cite that Mr. Vitter and Mr. Craig repeatedly tried to come off as paragons of moral virtue...but let us not forget: "I did not have sex with that woman....Ms. Lewinsky." Not to mention Clinton's repeated "photo ops" loving on that beast Shrillary.

Which brings me to the issue: gayness. It is ok to be gay if you are a democrat and not a republican, at least in the eyes of the Left? Isn't that a bit, you know, discriminatory? I don't know if Craig is gay or not, I don't care, but it is awful funny that all the gaybaiting and searching for "gay clues" by the media into Craig's past reveal a great deal more about the left than the right. It is ok to be gay if you are a democrat, but not so if a Republican. That makes you a hypocrite. Just as it is OK to have sex with Congressional underage pages (Gerry Studds of MA) but not to exchange dirty emails with pages (Mark Foley) if you are a Republican. Sounds like a double standard to me. Sounds like some hypocrisy.

In sum, the party of real corruption and real lack of core values is the Democrat party. They see moral issues only when it suits their purposes, but have no problem with child molesters continuing to serve in Congress (Studds) if he is of their party. That, to me folks, is true hypocrisy. Yes, the Republicans have problems, and have done wrong. However, you see them deal with it, as in getting Craig out, or telling people not to run for President. On the Dems, you get reelected and are made out to be the victim. But if you are Republican and falter, you are the devil himself. There was a similar group, way back when, Dems, and they fell, too. They were called Pharisees.

No one is without fault. No one. However, if you are going to point out that mote in someone else's eye, shouldn't you see to the board in your own? Why isn't Hillary being called to task for taking Hsu's money? Obama? Brunner? Strickland? Brown? Why isn't Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, andothers being asked to resign over lewd conduct, in some cases admitted and documented lewd conduct, as opposed to the suspicion to commit lewd conduct in the Craig case? Why aren't Democrats seeking the tarring and feathering of William Jefferson, D-LA, Black Jack "Abscam" Murtha, and others who have engaged in bad financing of campaigns, etc.? But a republican knows or met Abramoff or Noe, and watch out, you are dead meat? Come on now, people, let's be smarter than the Left thinks we are, ok?
