Bubp Headed to Iraq

Dayton Daily News:
State Rep. Danny Bupb, R-West Union, is the latest lawmaker in the Ohio Legislature to be called to military duty in Iraq.

Bupb, a colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, is expected to train at Camp Pendleton in California before heading to Al-Anbar region in Iraq early next year.

State Rep. Josh Mandel, R-Lyndhurst, a staff sergeant and an intelligence officer in the Marines, left for training in late July and is now serving in Al-Anbar Province, said Karen Tabor, spokeswoman for the House Republicans.

In the Ohio Senate, both Sens. Steve Stivers, R-Columbus, and John Bocceri, D-Middletown, have done military tours in recent years. Stivers, a lieutenant colonel in the Ohio Army National Guard, spent a year in Iraq. Bocceri, a major in the Air Force Reserves, has been deployed four times in Iraq and Afganistan.
Give 'em hell, Colonel...

Mark's Remarks

God bless you, Colonel Bubp. You are a great representative, a fine statesman, a model officer, and a wonderful person. It has been an honor to be represented by you and to work with you in the Brown County Republican Party. We here at WMD and in your district will be in prayer for you and your family. Stay sharp and keep your powder dry, Semper Fi!
We await your safe return, as we do all of our brave men and women in the military.

And I don't want to hear anymore B.S. chickenhawk talk about how Republicans want to send others off to war but don't go themselves. Danny Bubp and others are Republican supporters of the War and are going to serve. Enough with the cannards of that garbage. If you don't like the war, fine, but don't insult these people with catcalls like chickenhawk, etc.

God bless our men and women in uniform, and God bless America.
