Latta Ad (OH-05)

I meant to set this up a couple of days ago when this was released, but just now got around to it...

Here is Bob Latta's new tv ad...

UPDATE: Here is the press release that came out a couple of days ago to accompany the ad:
Rossford, Ohio (November 27, 2007) — One of the main reasons Bob Latta decided to run for Congress is to spur economic growth, because better jobs with better paying wages means a better future for Northwest Ohio.

Today, outside of the construction site for Bass Pro Shops in Rossford, Bob Latta highlighted why a focus on job creation must be a priority for our next congressman.

Bob Latta said, “I believe that wasteful government programs do not create jobs, it destroys jobs. In order to spur economic growth, the Congress must learn to live within its means, cut wasteful spending, eliminate unnecessary and burdensome regulations, and keep taxes low.”

Latta continued, “I am proud of my record in the Ohio Legislature. I have been the leading advocate against the death tax, an unfair tax that hurts small businesses. I have also voted against taxes, such as the Taft CAT tax that hurts small business. I am also very proud of the construction that is taking place right here in Rossford. For ten years, I worked diligently to change Ohio ’s law that hindered a company from locating here in Northwest Ohio. I drafted the language that changed the law, and the end result is hundreds of good jobs for Northwest Ohioans —both in the company and in the construction industry. This year, because of my efforts, I was honored to receive the Distinguished Legislator Award from the Ohio Economic Development Association. In Congress, I will roll up my sleeves and continue to work hard on economic development issues.”

Latta concluded, “I am proud to say that I am the only candidate in this race to sign a pledge to not raise taxes. We are already taxed enough. In fact, my priority in Washington will be cutting taxes and cutting red-tape regulations that hurts business in order to create economic prosperity.”
