Well it is time for Michigan. I have to admit Mitt Romney is really saying what Michigan wants to hear. McCains use of one of his hired dogs (Swift) was another case of crappy politics. Instead of being able to actually state what he is doing for the US McCain again attacks one of his own. I am all for attack politics trust me but this is tiring. Even if Romney's ideas are just superficial, McCain has been in position to influence the American economy and has not.
Now I personally believe Michigan should not be given up on (except for U of M). The government for YEARS has not been friendly to the US auto market. Laws have been written stifling growth. But what really baffles me is that the unions are constantly bashed and their jobs outsourced and they still vote for a democratic party that does everything to resist economic growth and resist rewarding people that actually work for a living.
Michigan is Ohio in a couple of years. There is a push for high tech jobs. But the government is to be blamed for the Midwest's sluggish growth over the past 25 years. Instead of screwing with crap they should not be, start looking at jobs for the American people. Be more favorable to job growth. Push for equal trade amongst countries. Do not pass environmental laws that only apply to US companies. Push for dollar valuation. And reward companies for innovation.
