Will Mexico Do the Right Thing?

AP News Alert:
MEXICO CITY (AP) Mexican officials have issued an arrest warrant for a U.S. Marine suspected of killing a pregnant colleague, a U.S. Embassy official says.
This is interesting because as I understand it, Mexico has a law that says that they cannot extradite criminals who face the death penalty or life in prison because they view both as cruel and unusal punishment. Of course, the victims of said crimes could not be reached for comment...

UPDATE: Funeral services for the slaine Marine and her unborn child have been set. (ONN)
