Wow. I saw all of this the day after the story broke that my old boss Kay Rogers plead guilty to fraud and filing false tax reports.
I will say this: I worked for the butler county auditors office for 5 years. I believe every bit of this story.
Kay is such a hypocrite. She talks about county employees being 'forced' to attend meetings. Me and my family were forced every year to attend a Christmas party at her house, and watch her underage children drinking jello shots and getting drunk while her and her cronies did the same. We were forced to pay 20 dollars a person for her every Christmas for her Christmas present while Lynn Kincaid (her enforcer at the time) took down names on a sheet of paper of all those who didn't give and gave the names in the Christmas card. Men in her office were treated like crap, subjected to office criticism in front of others. She would come out in an office meeting and make nasty barbs about men and gossip or whatnot. She would accept her Christmas cards with a fienged look of surprise then tell us all how she was going to take the 2000 dollars she got as her Christmas present and buy her kids a stone pizza hearth. All the while most of us were making 15-20% less than the private market.
We were forced every election to donate money, or it was threatened it would appear on our review, as well as forced to hang yard signs for her, while we all secretly hoped she would get ousted by whichever candidate ran against her. A friend of mine, facing surgery over the year refused to make the donation and was told it was coming out of his raise, and that he was a @ss to work with. I walked by the office when the tirade was going on and heard it myself. This is the office Kay ran.
As for Rawnica, I worked with her first husband Chris. I remember sitting in the office one day, while they were going through their divorce and chris' life was falling apart. He ran down a significant list of all of his friends that she had slept with simply to hurt him.
For someone who lied to get a job to provide for her kids, she was a real pill to work with. Another friend of mine and myself worked closely with her on a project and she was downright mean. Abusive and filled with nastiness is about the best way I can describe it without going into too much depth.
Furmon is a nice guy, albeit I think hes a pansy. He doesn't really do anything, but not making situations worse is better than nothing I guess. I will be voting for him.

All the cross hiring of family members. Someone should ask Kay how her brother had got hired at Butler County Environmental services. Well in short, she offered him a job in the auditors office, so he quit his previous job.
Then someone with a dictionary pointed out the meaning of nepotism and told her she couldnt hire him. Well he had already quit his old job, so now what?
Well she worked a deal out with Mr Fox, to hire one of his cronies family members while Kay's brother was given a position in environmental services. Which coincidentally is where all the washouts and favors wind up.
Nepotism. Its a game the whole family can play. Your tax dollars at work folks.
