McCain and Huckster in SW Ohio; Ellis Has Advice for McCain

The Enquirer has the details in a story that includes a quote from Butler County GOP Executive Chairman Tom Ellis with some advice for John McCain that he ought to listen very closely to:
"We sincerely hope that he can deliver the message to galvanize the Republican Party and unite the conservatives behind his campaign," said Tom Ellis, executive chairman of the Butler County Republican Party.

"He has to have Southwest Ohio's conservative Republican vote in order to carry the state of Ohio. One way in which he could do that ... is to indicate to the Republicans that he will embrace some of their conservative philosophies."

Republican votes in Butler County are vital because they helped push President George Bush over the top in the last presidential election, Ellis said.

"It boiled down to Butler County because Ohio was so close. Without that, it simply wouldn't have happened," he said.
McCain will be appearing at Armor Holdings in West Chester at 2:45PM today while The Huckster will be in Mason at 4:30PM.
