Sign the Pelosi Premium Petition and Get a Bumper Sticker

WASHINGTON, DC – Today The Freedom Project announced that visitors who sign the “Pelosi Premium” petition on FreedomProject.org will receive a free bumper sticker that reads: “America Can’t Afford the Pelosi Premium.” House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) released the following statement:

“Tired of paying nearly $4 for a gallon of gas? Had enough of politicians who think you should pay even more? Then it’s time to let Democrats know you can’t afford the Pelosi Premium.

“On FreedomProject.org is a petition calling on House Democrats to reveal their ‘commonsense plan’ for lowering gas prices. By raising taxes and creating new red tape, the Majority has shown it knows how to make gasoline more expensive for families and small businesses. Now it’s time for a plan that lowers prices here at home, reduces our dependence on foreign sources of energy, and expands production of American energy to create new jobs and grow our economy.”

The “Pelosi Premium” is the increase in the price of a gallon of gas since the beginning of the Democratic-led 110th Congress. As of this morning, the “Pelosi Premium” stands at $1.29.
