OH-16: Boccieri is Afraid of a Girl?

Self-proclaimed tough guy John Boccieri (D-Doesn't live in OH-16) is seemingly afraid of a girl! On Friday, he backed out of a debate sponsored by the Canton Repository and Canton Chamber of Commerce. Boccieri insulted the Canton Repository's Gayle Beck in the process, insinuating she will be an unfair moderator. As expected, the Repository isn't happy with Boccieri's insulting of Beck. "I am at a loss to understand their objection to our choice for a moderator," said Kevin Kampman, the publisher of the Repository. "Gayle Beck's integrity and fairness are beyond reproach. No one from their group has attempted to discuss their concerns with me since the initial meeting."

Nobody seems to have a clue why Boccieri and his Youngstown cronies think they were walking into an "unfair" debate. This says a lot for a guy who is trying to steal this seat for his liberal and corrupt friends from Youngstown and Washington D.C. But, is it shocking that somebody who isn't from the district is making ridiculous assertions about the largest paper in the district? This is just another sad reminder for the voters that Boccieri isn't from the 16th District, doesn't own a home in the district, and didn't vote for himself in the primary.

Also, isn't it ironic that the guy who is complaining about not having enough debates is backing out of a debate?
