More Truth for "Truth"PAC

An Ohio Elections Commission panel, in a 3-0 decision, has found probable cause that the so-called "Truth"PAC has made false statements regarding Issue 3. The case now moves to the seven-member full commission for another hearing.

Also, the "Truth"ers have run an internet ad that failed to contain a legal disclaimer.

In another blow to LiarPAC "Truth"PAC, their complaint against Ohio Jobs and Growth was dismissed.

WMD should have more on this later... DEVELOPING

UPDATE: From the OJ&G release:
Referred to the full Elections Commission for a hearing were:

* Statements by “TruthPAC” co-chair Sen. Teresa Fedor that misrepresented the union labor record of Penn National Gaming, one of the principal sponsors of Issue 3;

* A statement by “TruthPAC” co-chair Rep. Lou Blessing that falsely claimed cash wagering was “mandated” in the proposed constitutional amendment.

* Ads placed on a web site by “TruthPAC” which did not contain the complete disclaimer required by Ohio law.
