Tea Party Bad for GOP with Women, Youth, and Minorities? Not So Fast Moderates!

I recently did some battle with an intellectually inferior "moderate" establishment Republican who insisted that the Tea Party movement was hurting the GOP with women, minorities and young voters.

I think we can all agree that Rasmuseen Reports is the best pollster out there... They did a poll (crosstabs for Premium Members) that has some startling facts that "moderate" establishment Republicans ought to be made aware of time and again...

Women

Republican 16%
Democrat 39%
Tea Party 21%
Not sure 23%

Minorities

...............Black Other
Republican 0% 10%
Democrat 80% 28%
Tea Party 4% 35%
Not sure 16% 26%

Young Voters

...........18-29 30-39 40-49 50-64 65+
Republican 9% 14% 25% 18% 32%
Democrat 47% 36% 27% 34% 35%
Tea Party 20% 20% 28% 28% 17%
Not sure 24% 30% 20% 19% 17%

The Bottom Line

The ONLY demographic where Republican beats Tea Party is with the 65+ group...

Folks, don't be intimidated by these "moderate" establishment Republicans. They have no idea what they are talking about and have absolutely no proof whatsoever of their claims. They are running scared because the Tea Party message is resonating with the American people.
