Portman on Ohio Unemployment Rate

Statement:

COLUMBUS, OH -- Rob Portman issued the following statement today regarding Ohio's unemployment rate, which is now at double-digits for the 10th consecutive month:

"Ohio is now in its 10th consecutive month of double-digit unemployment with no relief in sight under the ineffective leadership of the Strickland-Fisher administration. Despite mounting job losses and Ohio continuing to fall behind, Job Czar Lee Fisher continues his unwavering support for the status quo policies coming from Columbus and Washington. Ohio's working families and small business owners need help now, and they need to know that their leaders are working for them, not against them as we struggle to climb out of this recession."
