While the Yankees might be called the evil empire, the UCLA dynasty of John Wooden may be known as the Benevolent Monarchy. Coach Wooden was not a despot or an emperor, but a guide and mentor to hundreds if not thousands of Young men. One of my mentors sent me this story, which I will now share with you. Like him, it brought a tear to my eye. Godspeed, Coach Wooden!
