A staunch conservative who served in the United States Senate and as Chairman of the Republican National Committee. This Ohio Republican actually thought Teddy Roosevelt was crazy and believed that he shouldn't have been selected for Vice President saying, "Don't any of you realize there's only one life between that madman and the presidency?"
My favorite Hanna quote: "There are two things that are important in politics. The first is money and I can't remember what the second one is".
