NRSC's Fake Tea Party Values Logo

As I said on Facebook; outside of Democrats, I can't think of an organization more at odds with the Tea Party movement than the NRSC, but here they are making a pitch using Gadsden flags (at this link -- who knows how long it will be there, my guess is not long) and Tea Party rhetoric (in the bumper sticker featured to the left).

These people actually expect Tea Party voters to forget that the NRSC backed Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, Charlie Crist in Florida and Mike Castle in Delaware.  Good luck with that!

All of this is reminiscent of the whole fake Tea Party Values logo that our friends in the Ohio Republican Party and the State Central Committee tried to confuse primary voters with earlier this year.  I keep hearing from the 527 Media and liberal blogs (but I repeat myself) how the Tea Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican Party, but the truth is that the GOP is doing everything it can to latch on to this popular movement because they think it will help them win.  That's it.  Nothing more.  They don't care about real Tea Party values and their default position is to support any Republican who isn't a conservative.

Special Thanks to a Friend of the Show for the bumper sticker graphic at the top of this post.
