OSD-27: Local Labor Groups Endorse Republican Frank LaRose for Ohio Senate

Akron, Ohio - Frank LaRose, the Republican candidate for the Ohio Senate 27th District has been endorsed by several unions and labor organizations because of his pro-job, pro-worker and pro-prosperity agenda.
Frank LaRose is dedicated to the hard-working men and women who built this state. Because of his commitment to fight for local jobs and economic growth as a member of the Ohio Senate, Frank has been endorsed by the Ohio and Vicinity Regional Council of Carpenters; the International Longshoremen's Association; the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 18; United Food & Commercial Workers, Local 880; and the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio.

"I am honored to have the support of labor organizations that, like me, are focused on bringing good jobs back to Ohio," said Frank LaRose. "I am excited to partner with these groups as we work to find solutions to get Ohioans back to work. We will strive to ensure safe working conditions and an honest paycheck for an honest day's work"
A lifelong Summit County resident, Frank is a 10-year Army veteran who served in Iraq, Kosovo and along the US-Mexican border. While in Iraq, Frank earned the Bronze Star while serving as a Green Beret with the Special Forces. LaRose is a first-time candidate and will be on the November 2nd ballot.
