My favorite "myth" so far from the TSA Blog is this one:
Myth: Complaints about the pat-downs are extremely high.Of course, this moron isn't taking in to account the number of people who get the pat-down who are complaining. That number is actually quite high and climbing.
Fact: Only a small percentage of the traveling public receives a pat down as they travel through the security checkpoint. Approximately 2 million people fly in the United States every day. The number of complaints is extremely low.
Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics. Gets 'em everytime.
