GOV. KASICH ISSUES RESOLUTION HONORING OHIO’S VETERANS

COLUMBUS – Today Gov. John R. Kasich issued a resolution to honor the sacrifices and service of Ohio’s veterans and declared Friday, November 11, 2011 as Veterans Day. Veterans have contributed to our nation not only by serving in the military but also by serving their fellow veterans and citizens. They remind us of our obligations to our country and the price that is paid for our freedoms. Veterans Day provides all Ohioans the opportunity to pay tribute to veterans and their families for the many sacrifices they endure serving our country in times of war and peace.
