Matt's Chat
I think this is the right thing to do. The Administration should have this investigated. And if it turns out to be true, then the employee should be fired, and brought up on charges. To suggest that the President or the Vice President is responsible for such a fiasco is absurd, in my opinion. The President is relying on the Central Intelligence Agency for information, "outing" an analyst just doesn't make sense.
Mark's Remarks
I think this is going to be much ado about nothing, when compared to what the previous regime did in terms of smearing people in the White House Travel Office, as well as the hundreds of FBI files and investigations they launched to discredit the Clinton Women, including one who claimed to have been raped by Clinton. Of course, there was no outcry....probably due to the vast right wing conspiracy, right, liberals? I don't think so. The media squelched it for the most part and most people don't remember it or don't want to. What about Vince Foster and Ron Brown. Search the net for the FACTS in those cases, and you will be amazed at the cover ups they Clintons pulled off, and the smearing they did. However, this is a strong Republican President, so we will make this appear like Watergate. Whatever, to coin a phrase.
