How We Lookin' in Afghanistan? GOOD!

Nearly two years after the start of the U.S.-led campaign in Afghanistan, the American military gave a bullish progress report Wednesday, saying it had suffered only 31 combat deaths and enemy forces were "desperate."

U.S. military spokesman Colonel Rodney Davis said Taliban, al Qaeda and other Islamic militants opposing the 11,500-strong U.S.-led force had only three options: "Leave, die or change."

Progress is a wonderful thing!

Mark's Remarks

Yeah, I see no quagmire here, and my sources within the military are telling me that Afghanistan is looking better each and every day. However, I guess the fact that they have not had an amusement park located there or they don't have a mcdonald's yet means we have a quagmire. If Clinton shows his face for a visit over there, he will actually have to eat healthy and may have to sweat a little.....no, that can't mean they are civilized. See what happens when you let the Military do their jobs and shut the heck up? We are winning over there, and routing the terrorists. I would love to hear the libs dispute this, with fuzzy math and fuzzy stories. Wait, they won't touch this, because it is actually good news!
