Saddam Talks About Weapons and Cash
Saddam Hussein has given his U.S. captors information on hidden weapons and as much as $40 billion he may have seized while he was Iraq's president, an Iraqi official was quoted as saying on Monday.
"Saddam has confessed the names of people he told to keep the money and he gave names of those who have information on equipment and weapons warehouses," Iyad Allawi, a member of the U.S.-appointed Iraqi Governing Council, told the London-based Asharq al-Awsat daily.

And it is beginning, my friends, Saddam is starting to talk. For now it is small fry stuff, but sooner or later, we're going to get the goods out of him...Mark's Remarks
40 billion is not small stuff. If we track down all that money, maybe it will go toward the war cost in Iraq. That may shut up the libs some more. You know, it is amazing. Everything they have said has turned out to not happen, to be a lie, or to simply be on the wrong side of history. We have never gone so far, so fast, with so few casualties. We have never been as widely welcomed, in spite of what the media says. Maybe now that Saddam talks and we get rid of more terrorists, maybe Moe Howeird Nikita Dean McGovern Dukakis Chamberlain will now realize the world is safer with Saddam captured. You know, it is amazing. Before we got him, it was: we need to get Saddam, why haven't we got Saddam? Now that we have him, the libs and hamsters say: well, big deal...the world is not safer, it is not a big victory. Which is it, folks? Are you simply trying to triangluate for political expediency again? The attacks on our soldiers are withering more and more, getting less significant. I guess you libs are at least being honest in that you do not care that it is our soldiers who are more safe with Saddam in our custody. Of course, you only care for the military for a photo op or for expediency. Look at the eight years of neglect by Bill Clinton to see the real feelings of libs about the military.
