Israel Update

AP News Alert:
UNITED NATIONS (AP) The U.S. ambassador says the United States and France have agreed on a U.N. Security Council resolution aimed at ending the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Seems to me like two key parties aren't involved in this... One of them had this to say in another AP News Alert:
BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) A Hezbollah Cabinet minister has said the guerrillas will continue fighting as long as Israeli troops remain in Lebanon.
And let me tell you, Israel isn't going anywhere until Hezbollah is disarmed.

So where does this leave the UN's peace deal???

UPDATE: AP News Alert:
JERUSALEM (AP) Israeli Cabinet minister Isaac Herzog has praised the draft U.N. Security Council as an "important development" but says military will keep up its strikes in coming days.
In other words, "nice piece of paper, care to back that up with something?"
