What Civil War? Update

Previously on WMD, I wrote that President Bush agreed with me that Iraq wasn't in a civil war. Liberal blogger and mental giant Russell of the BackStreetBoys took some exception to my argument, but failed (as usual) to make his point.

Perhaps Russell will accept the words of John Keegan and Bartle Bull writing in that far-right wing publication known as Propect Magazine...

For the record, my statement about the size of the factions involved was roughly this: roughly the Shia outnumber the Sunni 60% to 30% in Iraq. The numbers that are actually involved in violence would suggest that insufficient numbers of either side are engaged in warfare. If a significant fraction of the 8 million Sunnis took on a significant fraction of the 15 million Shiites, THEN Iraq would have a civil war...but that isn't what we're seeing in Iraq is it, Russell?
