State Rep. John White of Kettering said Wednesday he will step down Jan. 1 as chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Party.Well, White's run hasn't exactly been a stellar success...at least not in this cycle. Democrats now run the county commission 3-0...
White, finishing up his third year as chairman, said he wants to focus on his job as state legislator during his fourth and final term in the Ohio House, which starts next year. He will be not be able to seek re-election in 2008 because of term limits.
He said he made the decision about a year ago to step down after three years as chairman and that it was not influenced by Republican losses on Nov. 7.
Who are the frontrunners to replace White?
Gregory GanttMastin lost to White last time out...and she went on to helm the Titanic known as the Blackwell campaign...not real "winner" material if you ask me.
