Petraeus Speaks

AP News Alert:
WASHINGTON (AP) Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, says conditions in Iraq are "exceedingly complex and very tough" and predicts the U.S. effort might get harder before it gets better.
Nothing new here...note that the General fails to say that Iraq is "lost" thereby implying that al Qaeda has won... He doesn't say that, because it hasn't happened, but Democrats like Harry Reid are doing their very best to gift wrap a victory for the forces who brought down the World Trade Center, bombed that train in Spain, and terrorized Heathrow airport. These are people who try to board airplanes with explosives in their shows; they use children as bombs and propaganda tools. They are vile creatures...and Harry Reid wants them to win just so he and his political party can score a few points on a board that most Americans don't care about.
