RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) A federal judge has sentenced former state North Carolina House Speaker Jim Black to more than five years in prison.

And just what did this Democrat do? Well, he's getting "5 years and 3 months in prison and must pay a $50,000 fine after pleading guilty to federal corruption charges in February." Sounds like a fine citizen of the Democrat persuasion to me...
