Ohio College Republicans on Chairman DeWine

Release:
(COLUMBUS, OH) In a meeting of the Ohio Republican Party's Central Committee today, former State Representative Kevin DeWine was elected unanimously to succeed Chairman Bob Bennett.

"We wish Chairman Bennett the best as he finishes his term, and are eagerly looking forward to see what Chairman DeWine has in store for the Ohio Republican Party." said Ohio College Republican Chairman Jonathon Snyder.

"Chairman Bennett has brought us from the wilderness to being consistently one of the top party organizations in the nation during his time at the helm. Thanks to his hard work over the past two decades, Ohio benefitted from great leaders like George Voinovich, Betty Montgomery, and John Boehner, to name just a few."

Snyder expressed that winning back Ohio's youth in 2010 is of great importance if the Republicans are to be successful. He stated that, "Kevin DeWine is the leader who will help us win back our youth. We are very excited to be a big part of Republican efforts here to incorporate technology on a daily basis, communicate our winning message to Ohio's students, and make sure that we achieve success in the 2010 elections and beyond."
