I have mixed feelings about this... It is a renewal, so taxes won't "go up" but are the good people of Cincinnati getting a return on their investment? Cincinnati is bleeding population and there appears to be no end in sight. Where is the leadership on these issues?
A group called the Baptist Ministers Conference plans to campaign against the levy but only if CPS fails to make it policy that local, unionized contractors are given preferential treatment in construction project bidding. I might add that giving in to such a demand might actually make CPS's financial difficulties that much more of a problem.
I am curious to hear what COAST's position is on all of this...
